A man has been taken to hospital suffering lacerations to his head after being hit with a weapon in Perth's north.
Police are unable to say what type of implement was used in the attack but believe the injuries are consistent with being struck with a blunt weapon.
Officers were called to a house in Balga at 1.50am WST on Friday before the man was taken to Charles Gairdner Hospital.
