A man has been taken to hospital with head injuries after he was struck by a tram in Fitzroy.
The man was believed to be unconscious after he was struck by the 109 Box Hill tram along Victoria Parade near Gore Street around 11.40am.

He was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he is in a critical condition.
