Murder probe underway after man allegedly stabbed by housemate

A murder investigation is underway after a Perth man was allegedly stabbed to death by his housemate.
Hans Besselaar was stabbed in the chest at his Davallia Road home on Boxing Day after a fight spun got out of control.
Mr Besselaar’s 39-year-old housemate called Triple Zero before he was taken into custody.

“They were rushing to and from the house, I guess there was another person involved, they arrested him,” a witness told 9News.
“Seemed like a nice guy, always says good morning, usually had his dog with him, well dressed, well spoken,” neighbour Jane McMurdor said of the younger man.
Ms McMurdor said the victim was a friendly, long-time resident in the area.
No charges have been laid.
