Man stabbed in the back in regional South Australia

A man is fighting for his life after being stabbed in the back in regional South Australia.
His attacker, whom police believe is known to the wounded man, is on the run after the assault in Whyalla Stuart around 7.30am on Sunday.
The man, aged in his 40s, was flown to Adelaide from Whyalla by the Royal Flying Doctor Service due to the seriousness of his injuries. He is now stable.
