Man assisting police following stabbing in Sydney's southwest

A man is in hospital and another is in custody following a stabbing in Sydney's southwest.
Emergency services were called to a home in Macquarie Fields at about 2.30am on Sunday to find a 36-year-old man who was taken to Liverpool Hospital with non-life threatening stab wounds.
A 29-year-old man was arrested a short distance away and is assisting police with inquiries.

Police say the incident is believed to be domestic-related.
