Student fighting for life after Logan stabbing
A student is fighting to life after he was stabbed in the stomach and left to die at a shopping centre south-east of Brisbane.
Nabil Casoojee, 25, was found by a member of the public at the Underwood Marketplace just before 7pm.
The incident happened in the car park and police say the knife narrowly missed a major artery.
Mr Casoojee staggered up an escalator to get help and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
His attacker remains on the run.
This afternoon, police released an image of a man they wished to speak to over the stabbing.
Police do not believe the stabbing was random but do not know the connection between the men.
Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
