Man slashes driver's throat in Brisbane

A man has slashed the throat of the driver of a car he was a passenger in in Brisbane's north, police say.

They say the men were travelling together at Bardon late on Tuesday night.

The passenger allegedly slashed the throat of the driver before getting out of the car and running away.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Officers are still looking for the man who allegedly cut his throat.
