Man appears at Parramatta hospital suffering from several gunshot wounds

A man has presented to Westmead Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds after being shot in Sydney's west.

Police were called to Bobart Street in Parramatta shortly after 11pm on Friday following reports of several shots.

The man, who is in his 20s, appeared at the hospital a short time later suffering from a number of gunshot wounds.

He is understood to be in a stable condition as inquiries continue with no arrests yet made.
