Sydney man shot in foot and stabbed

A man has been shot and stabbed in Sydney’s north-west overnight.

Police were called to Adamson Avenue in Dundas Valley just after midnight where they found a 42-year-old with a gunshot wound to his foot and cuts to his arms and shoulder.

He was taken to Westmead Hospital but his injuries are not considered life threatening.

Adamson Avenue remains closed as police continue investigations.
