Man shot in buttocks in northern NSW

A man has been shot in the buttocks in northern NSW.
Police say the injured man, thought to be in his 20s, was found on Kennedy Drive at Tweed Heads West about 4.45am on Monday.
He has been taken to hospital but his injuries are not life-threatening.

Police want to hear from anyone with information about suspicious activity or vehicles in the area around that time.
