Man shot in buttocks and legs in Sydney's west

A 29-year-old man has appeared at a hospital in Punchbowl bearing gunshot wounds to his legs and buttocks.
Police attended an address in Telopea Street after reports a man had been shot but were unable to locate the victim at the scene.

A short time later, police learned a man who is known to them had presented himself to Bankstown Hospital with multiple gunshot injuries.
He has been transferred to another hospital and is expected to undergo surgery.
