Man survives shooting in Adelaide

A man has been shot in the abdomen in a targeted attack at a property in the rural outskirts of Adelaide.

The 46-year-old man was rushed from the Virginia property to hospital about 6am (CDT) with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are treating the shooting as suspicious and will further question the victim later on Sunday.

"It is a targeted attack," a police spokesman told AAP.

"We've got some positive lines of inquiry."

Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
