Police hunt gunman after man shot dead during fight
Police are investigating the deadly shooting of a man overnight in the NSW Riverina region.
Emergency services were called today at 3am to Connorton Avenue in the south-western Wagga Wagga suburb of Ashmont over reports of a man being shot during a fight.
When police and paramedics arrived, they found the victim dead.

He has not been formally identified.
A crime scene was set up, which will be examined by specialist forensic officers.
Detectives have launched an investigation with help from the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad.
Anyone who may have information, dashcam and or CCTV footage from the surrounding areas is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
