A DJ shot by police after allegedly charging at officers with a shovel has been described as "nothing but friendly" by shocked neighbours.
Andrew Wilczewski was rushed to hospital with a gunshot wound after police attended a Waurn Ponds property, near Geelong, on Willesden Drive just before midnight for a noise complaint.
