Man seriously injured at Kallangur worksite, north of Brisbane

A 47-year-old man has been seriously injured at a worksite in Kallangur, north of Brisbane.

Paramedics found the man with a puncture wound to his chest after they were called to the Dholes Rocks Road site about 10am, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said.

Initial reports suggest it may have been an accidental work injury, she said.

The man was taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
