Man's skull fractured in Sydney attack

A man is in hospital with a fractured skull after an attack in Sydney's west.

The 28-year-old was found with facial injuries outside a unit block in Werrington on Friday night.

Police were told that he was confronted and assaulted by a group of men after arriving at the block.

The group reportedly fled the scene and an investigation is underway to try to find them.
