CCTV captures man hit by car outside Melbourne hotel

CCTV has captured a man being run over by a car after a group brawl broke out in Melbourne’s inner-west.

Police allege two men from Hoppers Crossing began fighting with another group in the car park of the Commercial Hotel in Yarraville about 2am today.

Moments later, video obtained exclusively by 9NEWS shows a sedan pulling up in a side street near the hotel.

Punches are thrown as several people clash in the middle of Hall Street.

The sedan can then be seen making a sharp U-turn before travelling towards the group.

A 22-year-old Williamstown man was hit by the car and allegedly left lying on the road.

He was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital and is now in a stable condition.

Two Hoppers Crossing men, aged 21 and 22 years old, have been arrested in relation to the incident.

Charges are yet to be laid.
