Another 21-year-old Hoppers Crossing man was also caught by police on Walshs Road on the same day.

The driver's Mitsubishi Triton 4WD was defected for oversized tyres, excessive suspension life and illegal lighting fitted to the vehicle's roof.

It was impounded with towing costs of $1865.

The infringements were issued as part of Victoria's state-wide Operation Scoreboard, which ran from Thursday September 22 to Sunday September 25.
