Man rams police car after emptying flyers at Canberra shop

A man has been caught on CCTV ramming a police car in Canberra last week after emptying a flyer box at Palmerston shops.

The vision, released by ACT police, shows the man driving his car in to the carpark of the shops before approaching a flyer box and emptying the flyers onto the floor.

The man can be heard giggling as he walked away from the shops.

He then got into his car, which has been described as a white Mitsubishi Magna sedan with a black rim on the front passenger side.

The man then fled the scene after reversing into a marked police car in the carpark around 9.30pm.

Police have described him as being of Caucasian appearance with a thin build and fair complexion. He was seen wearing a blue hooded jumper, black shorts, grey socks and black ‘Nike’ sandals.
