Man on the run following alleged Victoria Point robbery

Police are searching for a man after a worker was allegedly robbed at knifepoint at a Victoria Point petrol station last night.

CCTV footage of the alleged robbery shows a man entering the Cleveland-Redland Bay Road business, 33km south-east of Brisbane, around 9.15pm. 

Dressed in black and wearing a balaclava, the man allegedly threatened a 21-year-old female employee with a knife, demanding money.

After he obtained a sum of cash, the man fled the store. Police said he was last seen escaping into neighbouring bushland.

The alleged robber is described as Caucasian and approximately 175cm tall, with a slim build.
