Man on the run are ploughing car into Sydney home

A driver has fled the scene after crashing his car into a home in Macquarie Fields overnight during an alleged police chase.

Authorities say they were pursuing the driver along Evelyn Street, Macquarie Fields, around 3.40am when he drove his vehicle onto a curb and lost control.

His car smashed into the bedroom of a residence where the home owner was sleeping, police said.

The man then fled the scene, leaving behind his three passengers.

No one was injured in the accident.

Police continue to search for the alleged offender.
