Man seriously injured in Melbourne brawl

A man has been taken to hospital following an ugly brawl in Melbourne’s inner-city.

The fight broke out between two men on Johnston Street in Fitzroy close to 12am overnight and left the 30-year-old with serious head injuries.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police are searching for the other man involved in the brawl.
