Brazen Subway daylight robbery caught on camera

Police have released CCTV footage of a knife-wielding man robbing a Subway restaurant.

A man armed with a knife entered the Subway in Manuka, Canberra, at about 11.45am on Friday.

He demanded cash, which staff provided.

The robber then fled on foot in the direction of Red Hill.

He is described as being aged in his 20s or 30s, Caucasian in appearance, 175cm tall, of medium build and clean-shaven.

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black hooded jumper and blue gloves.
