Man killed after being 'dragged by bus' in Sydney’s CBD

A man has been hit and killed by a bus in Sydney’s CBD in the early hours of the morning.
Emergency services rushed to the intersection of Bathurst and Elizabeth Street just after 3am.
The man, believed to be aged in his 20s, was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.

Witnesses told 9NEWS the man may have been a passenger in a car.
It’s thought he may have just stepped out of the vehicle when he was struck and reportedly dragged underneath the oncoming bus.
Elizabeth Street was blocked off between Liverpool Street and Park Street while police officers examined the scene.
Inquiries are continuing.
