Man 'tortured for months' in his own home
A 25-year-old man is recovering in hospital after allegedly being tortured and held against his will for months in his Logan home.
Two men have been charged with torture and acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, after the injured man fled to a police station and told officers he'd been held for months in the Kingston property, south of Brisbane.
After the 25-year-old attended the Beenleigh police station on Sunday afternoon, he was taken to hospital and treated for cuts and bruises.
The circumstances of the man's escape remain unknown.
Neither Onshow Vaafusuaga, 20, and Rongotitiro Cecil, 23, appeared at Beenleigh Magistrates Court yesterday, after being charged.
They have been remanded in custody and will next appear via video-link at the same court on April 18.
