Man in a critical condition after assault outside Perth nightclub

A 37-year-old man is in a critical condition after he was found outside a Perth nightclub with serious head injuries.

Paramedics found the injured man outside the Hip-E Club on Newcastle Street at 4.30am today.

He is believed to have been assaulted and was taken to Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital.

He remains in a critical but stable condition. 

Detectives are seeking witnesses to the assault.
