Man found dead in Canberra pond

A young man has been found dead in a Canberra pond.

Police are trying to work out the 22-year-old Korean's movements a week ago to determine how he died.

He was last seen alive about 11pm on Monday, September 1 when a friend dropped him off outside his unit complex in Bruce, in Canberra's north.

The man's body was found in a pond near Eardley Street the following morning, along with his black backpack.
