Sydney man in serious condition after scaffolding fall

A man is in a serious condition after falling eight metres from scaffolding in central Sydney.
The 36-year-old fell at about 10.30am today.
He was treated for suspected head and spinal injuries before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital.

NSW Ambulance Inspector Geoff Senior said the crews had done an "excellent job" in treating the patient.
"This is the second serious worksite accident we have responded to this morning," he said.
"We urge everyone to be aware of their surroundings and look out for their colleagues. One little mistake can lead to serious injury."
