Man dies in industrial accident at Melbourne’s South Wharf

A man has died in a workplace incident at Melbourne's South Wharf this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to a construction site near the Hilton Melbourne South Wharf hotel just before 3.35pm. 

It is believed a man fell from a piece of equipment. He died at the scene.

WorkSafe Victoria has been notified and police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
