Man dead after falling out of a moving vehicle in regional NSW

A man has died after falling out of a moving car in the far west regional town of Tilpa in New South Wales.

Emergency services were called to a station on Tilpa-Louth Road at around 6pm on Saturday October 16 after reports that a 25-year-old man had fallen off the back tray of a Toyota Landcruiser.

The Royal Flying Doctors Service arrived at about 8.45pm to assist. But the young man, who had injured his head, died at the scene.

Barrier Police District officers were also present and an investigation has been launched to find out how the incident occurred.

A report will also be prepared for the coroner.
