Man dies in smash with B-double truck

A man has been killed when his ute collided with a B-double truck on a highway north of Adelaide.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Windsor Road and Port Wakefield Road near Windsor after the truck slammed into the vehicle about 11.20pm yesterday.
The 41-year-old man, the sole occupant of the ute, died at the scene while the truck driver was not injured.

Traffic on Port Wakefield Road was diverted for several hours and has now reopened.
The man’s death takes the state’s road toll to 86 this year.
