Man dead, elderly driver critical after car crashes into truck in Sydney's north
A 27-year-old man is dead and an elderly driver is in critical condition after a car crashed head-on with three vehicles, including a truck, in Sydney's north.
Just before 4.40am, emergency services were called to the Pacific Motorway, about 2km north of the Wahroonga exit.
A Ford travelling south was captured on dashcam footage veering into the northbound lane before crashing into a truck and two cars.

A 27-year-old man died at the scene, while the other three were treated by paramedics.
A 96-year-old man, believed to be the driver of the Ford, is in hospital in critical condition.
All northbound lanes on the M1 were closed earlier today, creating heavy traffic for commuters around peak hour.
Traffic stretched more than 30 kilometres for hours before the motorway reopened later in the day.
