Man dead, another hospitalised in Brisbane crash
A Queensland man has died after his station wagon collided with another car in Brisbane's west this morning.
The man, confirmed to be in his 40s, had been driving in Bardon, Brisbane when his car collided with another car travelling in the opposite direction around 5.20am.
Police said the man died at the scene as a result of severe injuries.

He was the only person in the vehicle.
The driver of the other car, a 62-year-old man from Toowoong was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or can provide police with dash-cam footage are urged to come forward.
The forensic crash unit has been on scene and is investigating the crash.
