Man in critical condition after being hit by ute in Sydney's south-west
A man is in a critical condition after he was hit by a vehicle in Sydney's south-west overnight.
Emergency services were called to the Hume Highway near Holston Avenue in Casula just after 11pm, where they found a 60-year-old man with head, chest and leg injuries.
Police believe he was hit by a ute, while using a designated road crossing.

The driver of the ute, a 23-year-old man, stopped to help until paramedics arrived.
The driver has undergone mandatory testing, and his ute has been seized for examination.
