Man claims Guinness World Record by dunking biscuit in tea during bungee jump
A British man has proved there is always time for tea, by completing the highest ‘bungee dunk’ to etch his name into the Guinness World Record books.
Simon Berry, 24, leapt from a 73.4-metre platform in Bray, Berkshire to dunk his chocolate biscuit into a mug of tea – emblazoned with the Union flag for good measure.
Video footage captured his daring leap, showing him clasping one wrist over the other to allow for meticulous aim.
“It was pretty difficult… getting down and having to nail that cup of tea was pretty tricky,” he told the Telegraph.
After breaking the record on Guinness World Records Day, he said the feeling was “absolutely incredible”.
The previous record was held by US man Ron Jones, who jumped and dunked from 60.5 metres in 2013.
