Man charged with murder over Port Melbourne stabbing

A man has been charged with murder after a man was allegedly stabbed to death in Port Melbourne.
The Port Melbourne man, 44, has been remanded in custody and is due to front the Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
Police allege he stabbed the victim, also aged 44, to death on Friday.

He was found about 3pm on Nott Street, with extensive stab wounds, and died later that day.
