Man charged with murder and attempted murder over triple Perth shooting

A 27-year-old man has been charged over a shooting that left one man dead and two injured in Perth last month.

Mitchell Finnerty, 23, died after being shot in a driveway in Banksia Grove on April 26, and a father and son – aged 53 and 24 – were injured in the same shooting.

Police launched a hunt for the gunman and major crime detectives commenced an investigation.

At the time of the shooting, police said they believed the men involved had links to outlaw bikie gangs. 

Today, WA Police advised that a Singara man has been charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder over the shooting.
