Police investigations continued, with detectives focusing on the manufacture and supply of prohibited pistols in the region.

On Thursday detectives executed a search warrant at a home in Lavington and located and seized a .410 calibre pistol along with firearm components, plans and tools allegedly linked to gun manufacture.

A 23-year-old man was arrested at the home and has been charged with multiple firearm offences, including manufacture of a prohibited pistol.
