Man charged over violent bashing in Perth

A 21-year-old man has been charged after allegedly bashing a Perth man so severely that he fractured his skull.
Police alleged there was an argument between a 41-year-old man outside his house in Cloverdale and a group of people from a neighbouring property at about 2.30am (WST) on Saturday.
One member of the group assaulted the man, knocking him to the ground and causing significant head injuries, police said.

The victim was taken to hospital with a fractured skull, facial fractures and other injuries.
The 21-year-old has been charged with grievous bodily harm and will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Monday.
