Man charged over Sydney stabbing

A man has been charged over a stabbing in Sydney's south that left another man with life-threatening injuries.
Police said a 23-year-old man and a woman were sitting in a parked car in Glencoe Street in Sutherland on Saturday when a 24-year-old man approached them.
The two men began to fight, and the older man allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the other in the lower back before fleeing the scene.

The 23-year-old was taken to St George Hospital where he is in a stable condition, with life-threatening injuries.
Police later arrested a 24-year-old man at a Kirrawee home.
He was charged with malicious wounding and drug possession, and is due to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.
