Man charged over Sydney armed robberies

A man has been charged over a string of armed robberies across Sydney.
Police arrested two men during an attempted armed robbery at a service station in St Ives, in Sydney's north, on May 12.
A 23-year-old man was interviewed on Thursday and later charged with 11 offences, including eight armed robberies and three attempted armed robberies.

All of the offences occurred between April 16 and May 12 this year.
The man remains in custody and will appear before Burwood Local Court on Friday.
