Man charged over string of burglaries in Logan

A man has been charged with burglary offences following an extensive police investigation into burglaries in the Logan area, south of Brisbane, over the past three months.

Police allege the 34-year-old committed numerous burglaries in the Marsden, Browns Plains, and Crestmead areas from late September to December.

They say a large amount of property was stolen from the houses, including a Crestmead family’s Christmas presents on Christmas Day.

The Browns Plains man is due to appear in Southport Magistrates court today.
