Man charged over Melbourne shooting

A man who repeatedly fired a gun at another man in inner Melbourne has been charged with attempted murder.

Feda Malkic, 39, faced an out of sessions court late on Wednesday charged with attempted murder and firearms-related offences.

Emergency crews were called to a Parkville property just before midnight on March 11 to find a 35-year-old man with several shotgun wounds to his upper body.

The injured man was taken to the Royal Melbourne hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Malkic, of Bentleigh East, was arrested on Wednesday and remanded into custody during his brief court hearing.

He will face the Melbourne Magistrates Court later on Thursday.
