Video shows police arrest Sydney man charged over child porn offences
A middle-aged Sydney man accused of possessing child pornography and trying to groom a child online has been charged with eight offences.
Computers, mobile phones and electronic storage devices were seized from the Westmead home of the 55-year-old, after he was arrested yesterday morning following a month-long investigation.
Video supplied by NSW Police shows the man being arrested at an address in Westmead.
As well as allegedly possessing and accessing child porn the man "made a number of sexually-explicit comments and arranged to meet another person," police say.
The man is due before Parramatta Bail Court today, facing charges including incite to commit sexual intercourse with child under 10 years and possessing child abuse material.
