Man charged with decades of child sex offences in NSW

A man has been charged with multiple child sex offences that allegedly took place over decades in New South Wales.

Police say that in the 1970s, a 12-year-old boy was allegedly sexually assaulted by a man known to him at an address in Telopea, in Sydney's west.

Between 2002-2003, two 12-year-old boys were allegedly sexually assaulted by a man known to them on a yacht in the Killcare area on the NSW Central Coast.

And in 2007, police allege, a 12-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by a man while doorknocking as part of a school fundraiser in Ettalong Beach.

It's alleged the assault lasted over a four-year period.

At 3.15pm on Sunday, police attended a home at Ettalong Beach and arrested a 64-year-old man.

He was charged with multiple sex offences and refused bail.

He last appeared in court yesterday and was granted conditional bail to reappear on November 15.
