Man charged following dramatic police chase through north-west of Melbourne
A 24-year-old man who allegedly led police on a wild chase through Melton and Bacchus Marsh over the weekend has been charged by police.
The Box Hill man was dramatically arrested after allegedly stealing the car at gunpoint and driving on the wrong side of the road.
He was discharged from hospital today and interviewed by police.

The man was charged with several offences including aggravated burglary and reckless conduct endangering life.
The Box Hill man will appear in Melbourne Magistrates' Court via video link tonight for a remand hearing.
