Man charged with assaulting 73yo in Sydney

The man who allegedly put a 73-year-old man in hospital in intensive care after a car bingle in Sydney's inner west has been charged.
The elderly man was left with a fractured neck and head injuries after he was struck in the head while waiting for his wife outside a pizza shop in Strathfield on Monday.
He is still in Royal Prince Alfred Hospital but in a stable condition.

A 33-year-old man turned himself in to Surry Hills Police Station on Thursday afternoon and was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and breach of bail.
He has been refused bail to appear in Central Local Court on Friday.
