Man charged after homemade bombs allegedly discovered at NSW home

A man has been charged after police allegedly discovered homemade bombs, replica handguns and drugs at his southern New South Wales home.

Police said they discovered the items during a search warrant of the 31-year-old’s Tumut home in late June.

Among the alleged haul were four homemade bombs, four replica pistols, cannabis and several mobile phones.

Detectives arrested the man at his home yesterday and charged him with 13 offences, including possessing a military-style weapon with a permit.

He was granted bail and is due to appear in Tumut Local Court on October 10.
