Man charged after allegedly trying to open door mid-flight
A West Australian man has been charged after allegedly abusing staff and passengers and trying to open a door while a Qantas flight was in the air.
The 41-year-old man was on board the flight from Karratha to Perth on Monday.

Police alleged the man abused a passenger and pushed and kicked the seat in front of him.
When cabin crew tried to intervene, he allegedly abused them.
The man then allegedly ignored directions from cabin crew to fasten his seatbelt in preparation for landing and attempted to open a passenger door while the aircraft was in flight.
The man was escorted from the plane by AFP officers. It is alleged the man also became aggressive towards the officers and police were forced to restrain him.
The man was charged with causing harm to a Commonwealth official, endangering the safety of an aircraft, not complying with crew instructions and disorderly behaviour.
Facing Perth Magistrates Court yesterday, the man was granted bail and is due to appear in court next on November 27.
