Man brutally stabbed to death in Port Phillip Prison

A Melbourne man has died and prisoners have been detained after he was stabbed in prison last night.
Emergency services were called to Port Phillip prison last night around 7pm following a report an inmate had been stabbed.
Paramedics attempted to revive the man but he could not be saved.
A number of other inmates have since been detained and an investigation is ongoing.
